My current research is looking at how food affects your blood sugar levels, and how we could use this to reduce obesity and diabetes in the population.

My Typical Day:
I wake up, head to the lab, switch on all the equipment and prepare the food for the experiments I have planned that day

The cats usually wake me up when they’re hungry, after doing some yoga and getting ready I cycle to the office/lab.
After a strong coffee, I head into the lab to get the equipment ready before starting my experiments, then lunch, followed by more experiments in the afternoon, or looking over the data from the morning experiments.
