Yes I do! I feel like I’m always learning and there are new challenges every day. It’s also nice to feel like my research might be useful and help people in their daily lives.

Yes I do as it is always different and I get to manage my own time and activities. I also get to work with some amazing people from around the world.

Yes! It can be easy to forget in the routine of things sometimes just how cool my job is in science, but getting to constantly learn and try new things and be flexible in how I plan my work is really great, and getting to work alongside lots of great scientists and share ideas to hopefully help the world!

Best job in the world. I get to discover new things about food, then I get to share these ideas with some of the worlds best athletes and eat their food!! Its amazing and its all thanks to science.

I love the science side of the work and the people that I work with but there tends to be little job security for early career researchers – you typically have to work for about ~10 years in a variety of roles before you get your first permanent job. It’s exciting finding something new and even better if there is real world application, it’s often not easy but I like the work.
